In a 110-102 victory over the Utah Jazz in Denver, Jokic contributed 27 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds. This marked his second triple-double of the season and his 107th in his career. As a result, he is now tied for the fourth spot on the all-time triple-double list, alongside Jason Kidd and LeBron James.

Nuggets head coach Michael Malone emphasized the greatness of Jokic’s achievement, highlighting his remarkable consistency and ability to elevate the performance of his teammates, a trait he shares with LeBron James.

According to StatMuse, Jokic stands as the sole player with 10 or more triple-doubles while maintaining a field goal percentage of 75% or higher over the past 40 seasons. He displayed impressive accuracy with a 12-for-16 field goal record during Monday night’s game.

Furthermore, Jokic received the honor of being named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week, underscoring his outstanding contributions.

The Denver Nuggets have started the season with a perfect 4-0 record, making them one of just three teams yet to face a defeat. As Colin Ward-Henninger of CBS Sports noted in the latest NBA Power Rankings, Nikola Jokic has made a strong early case for the MVP title.
