Kerr's Request to Keep the Core Trio of Warrior Set

Amidst the dust settling after the Golden State Warriors’ recent tumble in the season-ending play-in tournament against the Sacramento Kings, head honcho Steve Kerr has piped up with a rallying cry to preserve the Core Trio of Warrior – Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson – till the end of their careers.

Kerr’s Request to Keep the Core Trio of Warrior Set

Intertwining an element of sarcasm, Kerr highlighted that Cinderella, contrary to popular belief, can also break in just one minute, using the 1996 or 1998 Bulls team as an example, brought out in a movie or show. Although Kerr is aware of the perils of giving someone a chance to finish their careers with the Warriors, with the ample pride and honor hovering over that person, he’s still fine with it.

The dedication these three men have had to the shirt of the Warriors through four championships from the 2014-15 season confirms the depth of their commitment. Kerr is making some noises that he is about to decide on changes for the team’s winning formula. He, however, says that all is well with his formula at the moment.

Along Kerr’s tune, Warriors’ GM Mike Dunleavy Jr. spitted the same view throwing some panegyrical towards Thompson and Green for the following season.

Thompson’s free agency takes the cake, as the Milwaukee Bucks and the Houston Rockets stand poised like sharks, waiting to snatch a trophy catch. While a successful season would brighten the prospects of securing another season contract, an off-season slump might steal the spotlight if there is more lucrative offer.

Anderson’s season on the other hand, gave the Warriors some moments to cherish, only to be colored with suspensions that would eventually be the tallest shadows on their way. A series of row with which Rudy Gobert and Jusuf Nurkić arguably put him in tough spot, missing vital matches which probably did the the team more harm than good.

Still, the tape of history records, with a voice that carries within it stories of redemption for the Warriors. More or less the same was the case with the Doubts in 2020 and 2021, only for Golden State to emerge winners again in the 2022 edition of the tournament. They secured the championship for themselves in this year’s ‘Title Run.”

The nothingness remains for Curry, Thompson, and Green tastes, but keert eyes for them to fill their saga till the final buzzer strikes.
