Nets’ Cameron Johnson: May return to practice on Saturday

In Wednesday’s upcoming preseason game against the Miami Heat, Johnson, who is currently recovering from a hamstring injury, will not be taking the court.

However, there is some optimism from coach Jacque Vaughn, who anticipates that the small forward will rejoin practice on Saturday. These insights were provided by Brian Lewis of the New York Post.

Johnson’s injury saga began before the training camp even commenced when he suffered a hamstring injury during a pre-camp workout. As a result, he is on track to miss the entire slate of preseason games for the Brooklyn Nets.

While his rehabilitation is progressing positively and nearing completion, he will likely need a few more practice sessions to ensure he is fully prepared for competitive game action. The Nets’ regular season is scheduled to kick off on October 25th with a matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
