This performance earned him All-Big 12 Second Team honors, with his name ranking third in the conference for total assists (169) and 13th in the NCAA for assists per game (5.8).

At the 2023 Jordan Rising Stars Game during NBA All-Star Weekend, he was a selected participant and also earned the title of NBA G League Player of the Week on December 19. Additionally, Pippen Jr. had six appearances for the Los Angeles Lakers in the previous season, contributing an average of 2.3 points in 5.3 minutes per game. During his three collegiate seasons (2019-22) at Vanderbilt University, where he played in 90 games, 89 of which he started, he maintained averages of 17.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.6 steals in 31.6 minutes. His impressive performances earned him All-SEC First Team honors in his sophomore and junior campaigns.
