Mark Cuban Tells fan they can’t keep Colin Sexton ‘’you need to learn how the CBA works‘’

The absence of a suitable successor after Jalen Brunson’s departure has contributed to the Dallas Mavericks’ difficult offseason. Moreover, the Mavs are hopeful that Tim Hardaway Jr.’s return to the lineup after missing most of last season due to injury will help reduce the point’s disadvantage, but the supporters have been demanding more.

Fans of the Dallas Mavericks have been pleading with the team to express interest in Cleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton ever since the start of free agency. The Cavaliers undervalued Sexton’s offer to join the team since he is in restricted free agency and hasn’t attracted much interest from other teams.

In response to the escalating contract speculations, a Mavericks supporter decided to direct message Mark Cuban on Twitter and ask him to pursue Sexton. Cuban informed the fan that due to the way the CBA rules are set up and the fact that the Mavs are far above the salary ceiling while not extending Brunson, they are not in the running to sign Sexton.

Cuban is very fond of Twitter

Cuban is a very active user of Twitter and regularly monitors what Mavs supporters are saying about him or the team. After the Mavs failed to sign Goran Dragic, he began to like tweets with supporters giving him hateful comments, which was evident in his behavior.

Sexton is currently in a difficult circumstance and must look for a decent squad to play for in the future. He would be an excellent fit for the Mavericks because he can score expertly off the ball and handle the ball well in non-Luka minutes. It will be intriguing to see how the Mavs lineup on the court this season with just Luka and Spencer Dinwiddie as ball-handlers.

Cuban seems frustrated

Cuban could have been a tad disrespectful in telling a fan to research the CBA. Even yet, it undoubtedly reflects his own unhappiness with the Mavs’ unwillingness to make significant changes to their offense to accommodate Doncic and turn this group into a legitimate title contender.
