Juancho Hernangomez aka Bo Cruz Gets a Deal with the Raptors

While the limelight is on Kevin Durant and Donovan Mitchel for the past couple of days, Juancho Hernangomez steals the spotlight. The headlines today feature Hernangomez aka Bo Cruz and the Raptors. The Raptors have made a surprising signing of Juancho Hernangomez, the star of Adam Sandler’s Netflix movie Hustle. The signing deal is one year contract.

Hernangomez played 40 games for Jazz last season averaging more than 3 points and 2.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. Now, Hernangomez is now officially part of the NBA again. He rose to fame by playing the star character in Adam Sandler’s Hustle. After the blockbuster movie, Hernangomez is better known as Bo Cruz, the name of the character in Hustle.

Bo Cruz has played a total of 297 career games in the NBA with Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs, and Utah Jazz, and now he is joining the Raptors.

However, Hernangomez will compete for one of the final spots in the training camp. The Raptors camp roster now stands at 20 and is now full.

Let’s see if Bo Cruz can really find some buckets in NBA. We know that he can act well, he is well built for the game but finding buckets is not a walk in the park. We will see how everything plays out, no doubt he is a fan favorite now. The Raptors fans are going to gravitate towards his Bo Cruz persona.
