These teams are now set to compete in the semifinals, vying for a spot in the 2023 WNBA Finals. Here’s a look at the matchups and schedule for the WNBA semifinals:

Semifinal Teams:

The first round of the WNBA playoffs saw the top four seeds advance to the semifinals.

The top-seeded Las Vegas Aces started their postseason journey with a dominant sweep of the No. 8 Chicago Sky.
The No. 2 New York Liberty also swept their series against the No. 7 Washington Mystics.
The No. 4 Dallas Wings secured a sweep against the No. 5 Atlanta Dream.
The only series to reach a decisive Game 3 was between the No. 3 Connecticut Sun and the No. 6 Minnesota Lynx, with the Sun emerging victorious on the road to secure their spot in the semifinals.

WNBA Semifinals Format:

Unlike the first round, which featured a three-game series, the semifinals and WNBA Finals will follow a best-of-five format. The higher-seeded teams will host Games 1, 2, and 5 (if necessary), while the lower-seeded teams will host Games 3 and 4 (if necessary).
