Atlanta Dream beat the Phoenix Mercury with a score of 85-75, owing big time to Cheyenne Parker and Tiffany Hayes. The duo put 37 points on the board, scoring 21 and 16 respectively. The former grabbed 11 rebounds and made one assist while the latter added seven rebounds and six assists to best Diana Taurasi and Shey Peddy’s collective 39 points on the board.

The Dream started with a three-point lead in the first quarter, which Mercury squared in the next quarter. The third ended with a point lead for the Dream, but in the fourth quarter, they came out blazing, finishing with 21-12. The game became intense as Sophie Cunningham made a three-pointer with several minutes left in the last quarter to give Phoenix a 73-70 lead. In response, Erica Wheeler hit back-to-back three-pointers, and Hayes flared up with a floater to extend the lead 78-73. The rest became history as the Dream won the game by ten points.

The Dream halted their three-game losing streak, winning their third game out of their previous nine encounters. They made a remarkable comeback going nuts in the last quarter.
