NBA In-Season Tournament: Quarterfinals Set as Teams Battle for Championship Glory

The NBA In-Season Tournament is heating up as the field has narrowed down to eight teams after an intense group stage involving all 30 NBA teams. The knockout phase is set to kick off next week with four thrilling quarterfinal matchups.

In the Eastern Conference, the Celtics, winners of Group C, will face off against the Pacers, who secured the top spot in Group A, on Monday. Meanwhile, the Bucks, triumphant in Group B, will host the Knicks, who secured their spot as a wild card entry, on Tuesday. Over in the Western Conference, the Pelicans, Group B winners, will take on the Kings, winners of Group C, on Monday. The Lakers, topping Group A, will go head-to-head against the Suns, another wild card entry, on Tuesday, rounding up the quarterfinals.

The victorious teams will progress to challenge their conference rivals on Thursday, December 7th, in Las Vegas. The ultimate showdown for the NBA Cup will follow just two days later, marking the climax of the In-Season Tournament. Notably, this championship game won’t impact the league’s regular 82-game season standings.

Quick overview: The tournament has showcased this season’s city edition uniforms in specially designed courts, adding to the excitement.
