Los Angeles Lakers Made Changes to the Game Schedule

The Los Angeles Lakers made changes to the game schedule a slight adjustment for the fifth game of the 2023-24 preseason. The game, which will be played at Crypto.com Arena against the Milwaukee Bucks led by All-NBA superstar power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, was originally scheduled for Saturday, October 15th. However, the tipoff time has been moved up to 4 p.m. PT.

Lakers Made Changes to the Game Schedule

Since this is the fifth preseason game out of a total of six for the Lakers, and preseason games are generally considered exhibition matches with limited significance, it remains uncertain how much playing time the star players, including LeBron James and Anthony Davis for the Lakers and Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, and former Laker Brook Lopez for the Bucks, will receive. Given that many of these players are in their thirties, it’s possible they will play only a few minutes or may even sit out the game entirely.

Nonetheless, this adjustment could offer an exciting opportunity for younger Lakers players like second-year swingman Max Christie, rookie draft picks Jalen Hood-Schifino, Mason Faulkner, and two-way signings Colin Castleton, D’Moi Hodge, and Alex Fudge to gain valuable playing experience on the court.
