D’Angelo Danté Russell is an American professional basketball player, currently playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was included in McDonald’s All-American in 2014 and has played college basketball for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Los Angeles Lakers selected him second overall in the 2015 NBA draft. He was chosen to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2016 while playing point guard for the Lakers. In 2017, he was moved to the Brooklyn Nets, and in 2019, he was named to his first All-Star game. He signed a sign-and-trade deal with the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 off-season and was subsequently drafted to the Timberwolves at the 2020 trade deadline.
