Bill Simmons Gave Rise to a New Controversy After Jalen Green’s Selection in All-Rookie First Team

The NBA released the All-Rookie teams for the 2021-22 regular season and both teams included an interesting combination of players.

1st Team:

Cade Cunningham

Jalen Green

Franz Wagner

Scottie Barnes

Evan Mobley.

2nd Team:

Josh Giddey

Ayo Dosunmu

Chris Duarte

Bones Hyland

Herbert Jones

Bill Simmons made this comment early in the season, and it generated a lot of pushback.

Simmons said: “F— Jalen Green” and said that he had voted for New Orleans Pelicans forward Herbert Jones instead.”

These comments gave rise to a new controversy. Green tweeted after being announced as an All-Rookie First Team selection: “shoutout bill simmons my dawg fr [for real],”

Simmons gradually responded to Green:
