Although shooting guard might be a competition among three qualified players, four of the Kings’ starting lineup seems to be decided. Meanwhile, Monk, who averaged 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists while shooting 42.2 percent from three-point range, will add a lethal touch to this starting lineup. Moreover, Davion Mitchell is the most excellent defender of the three, and Huerter would give Sacramento the most extensive lineup. In addition, Murray adds a lot of potential to this team as he can score, rebound, and play several positions.
San Antonio Spurs
Point Guard: Josh Primo
Shooting Guard: Devin Vassell
Small Forward: Keldon Johnson
Power Forward: Doug McDermott
Center: Jakob Pöltl
Sixth Man: Josh Richardson
The only two players in this lineup who are confirmed to start the game are Johnson and Pöltl. Meanwhile, Primo appears to be the point guard of the future, but after Dejounte Murray and Tony Parker, he has enormous responsibilities to fulfill. Moreover, McDermott, Richardson, and Pöltl will be in demand for trade talks, especially the latter two, as they are playing under contract expirations. However, there are fascinating young players on the roster, and they will undoubtedly get more playing time if the seasoned players get traded.
Toronto Raptors
Point Guard: Fred VanVleet

Small Forward: OG Anunoby
Power Forward: Scottie Barnes
Center: Pascal Siakam
Sixth Man: Otto Porter Jr.
This was the most used starting lineup of the Raptors’ previous season. However, the addition of Porter will reduce the burden as he can play and defend and is coming off a new championship with the Warriors. Moreover, if the Raptors manage a strong record, Siakam, VanVleet, and Barnes could end All-Stars.
Utah Jazz
Point Guard: Mike Conley Jr.
Shooting Guard: Collin Sexton
Small Forward: Malik Beasley
Power Forward: Lauri Markkanen
Center: Jarred Vanderbilt
Sixth Man: Talen Horton-Tucker
This starting lineup could look drastically different if Conley, Beasley, and Markkanen got traded by the end of February. However, if Sexton gets healthy, he might score over 25 points per game this season and temporarily distract Jazz fans from Donovan Mitchell. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt can rapidly draw the attention of the Utah supporters, as he is a good rebounder and defender.
Washington Wizards
Point Guard: Monte Morris

Small Forward: Deni Avdija
Power Forward: Kyle Kuzma
Center: Kristaps Porzingis
Sixth Man: Will Barton
Here, the starting small forward position will be one to keep an eye on since, according to head coach Wes Unseld Jr., the position is “wide open” going into training camp. So, Avdija, Barton, Rui Hachimura, and Corey Kispert are several players that may stake a claim for the position. However, Avdija is a fascinating choice out of the four because of his scoring, playmaking, and defensive skills. Meanwhile, the Wizards desperately need Beal to be back among the league’s top scorers to make it into the playoffs. However, if Porzingis excels as a floor-spacing, rim-protecting center, his durability will always be questioned.
