Riddick Bowe's Boxing Comeback: A Callout to Celebrities

The boxing world laments the missed opportunity of a Riddick Bowe versus Lennox Lewis showdown, a clash that could have gone down in history as one of the greatest boxing matches. Yet, fans were treated to the epic Bowe-Holyfield trilogy instead, a series that etched its own mark in boxing lore.

Jurs for the Sake of it: A Re-Entry into the Ring

To the amazement of everyone, Riddick Bowe, who has been retired for 15 years, is still hellbent on making a comeback and making his golden comeback. The exciting thing is that their initial rival has given them a challenge by raising a few names, with O’Neal being the leader on his list.

The Callout

Through an Instagram broadcast, Bowe made a post with representations of Shaq as well as other well-known people on the tag, with the disclosure that he had planned to challenge Shaquille. Accompanied by a clip featuring himself, Damon Feldman, founder of Official Celebrity Boxing, and his trainer Jonathan Felton, Bowe made his intentions clear: finally train their body to get back in there.

The Challenge

Jonathan Felton, Bowe’s trainer, was not going to let this opportunity go by or waste it on O’Neal. The NBA season is a key moment to try this. Marquez Felton also sees O’Neal as a fighter who is ready, following his history of providing the equally likes of Oscar De La Hoya and Shane Mosley with the perfect opponents for Bowe.

The Persistence

This follows the previous calls from the orange-haired person. In 2021, Logan Paul, undoubtedly one of the most controversial influencers and YouTubers, indicated his plans to come out of retirement and asked among his fans who would be his ideal opponent, including Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, and even Shaquille O’Neal. However, past years may not have turned up with success, but Bowe is not discouraged and is just as hungry for his second chance at professional boxing.

The Future Fight

Set to play against his former NBA teammate Lamar Odom in October 2021, the expert called for Bowe to return to the arena. Although the circumstances placed him in a position to watch the event rather than play, the flame of his will to return to the stage is still burning with the same fire as before.
Bowe is once again raising pulses with a comeback; boxing fans are impatiently waiting to find out whether he will really challenge these celebrities to a round or not. This means a renaissance in the history of boxing.
