During Tuesday’s match against the Sacramento Kings, LA Clippers’ standout Paul George Exits Clippers’ sat out the second half of the game due to discomfort in his left groin. George, contributing nine points and six rebounds in 16 minutes during the first half, was declared unavailable for the remainder of the game post-halftime.

Clippers’ coach Ty Lue didn’t provide an immediate update on George’s condition after the game. However, Lue confirmed that George could have returned to play if necessary.

Concern arose when George dove for a loose ball in the first half, prompting a brief moment on the floor. Lue expressed both worry and appreciation for George’s determination to make the play.

Substituting George, the Clippers started Norman Powell in the third quarter, maintaining their commanding lead of 70-48 at halftime.

Despite injury struggles with key players in recent seasons, the Clippers have experienced a healthier phase this season, with both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George participating in all 23 games. This stretch represents their most extended run of consecutive games together since their joint tenure with the team began in 2019-20.

Tuesday’s win, the second night of a back-to-back schedule, showcased the team’s resilience, especially considering George and Leonard’s participation in all four of these demanding contests.

With George averaging 23.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists this season, the Clippers prepare for upcoming matchups against the Golden State Warriors at home on Thursday and the New York Knicks on Saturday.
