NBA Unveils 'The Gift of Game' in Festive Christmas Campaign
In a festive spirit, the NBA launched its new Christmas Day brand campaign titled “The Gift of Game” on Monday, celebrating the enduring tradition and enchantment of holiday basketball. The campaign is now available for streaming on all @NBA platforms and the NBA App. Below is the complete overview.

‘Twas the night before the NBA on Christmas, and within households, fans eagerly anticipated the players’ bustling energy and excitement.

Amidst the stockings hung by the chimney, a basketball game unfolded, featuring St. Nick in his Nike Kobe 6 Reverse Grinches, adding to the festive cheer.

As families nestled in their beds, visions of 3-pointers danced in their minds. Suddenly, noises of excitement echoed down the stairs, prompting them to investigate.

Their curious eyes beheld a miniature hoop and ten toys adorned in NBA gear, showcasing a display of basketball prowess.

With impressive moves and skilled plays, the players, like King James, Tatum, and Brunson, delighted the viewers with their performance.

The vignettes continued, with Curry challenging Jokic to a game of Ho-Ho-Horse, leading to comical moments. Meanwhile, Luka and KD admired their sneaker choices, only to be outshined by a surprise appearance of grandpa in the Nike Kobe 6 Protro ‘Reverse Grinch,’ ahead of its public release on Dec. 15.

The cast of toys includes action figures of NBA stars such as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jimmy Butler, Steph Curry, and more.

This campaign, a collaboration with Translation and directed by Dave Scanlon with animation by Passion Pictures, sets the stage for the NBA’s upcoming Christmas Day lineup.

The NBA’s Christmas extravaganza features five games broadcast on ABC/ESPN, starting with the Bucks versus the Knicks at noon ET. The schedule continues with the Warriors facing the Nuggets, Lakers meeting the Celtics, the 76ers versus the Heat, and concluding with the Mavericks playing against the Suns.
