After that, Durant decided to forgo the final three years of his college eligibility and enter the NBA draft.

Before becoming the No. 2 overall pick in the 2007 draft, KD earned several prestigious awards, including the National Player of the Year Award, the John R. Wooden Award, and the Naismith College Player of the Year Award. Notably, he was the first freshman to ever win all three of these awards.
