Coincidence or Luck? Golden State Warriors win Championship every time Lemar Releases a New Album

Rapper’s new Albums ‘Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers’ was released this year while Warriors have already qualified for the Finals

One of the Greatest Rappers of this generation, Kendrick Lemar, has a weird connection with the NBA side, Golden State Warriors. He has been releasing one after a great album over the years and it seems it’s getting better and better. However, there has been a new connection found between the release of his Album and the Golden State Warriors’ recent championships.

It’s a weird coincidence that the year Kendrick Lemar dropped his album, ‘To Pimp A Butterfly, which is considered by many his breakout album and paved the way to his success, was the same year Golden State Warriors broke loose of Lebron James’ Dominance and won their first championship title.

Kendrick didn’t release an album in 2016, the same year in which the Warriors lost the final to the Cavaliers. He did release his new albums in 2017 (DAMN.) and 2018 (Black Panther Soundtrack), the same years in which Warriors won back-to-back titles. Then Lemar took a break from the music which amusingly resulted in a season filled with injuries for Warriors.

The Rapper has released his two new albums, ‘Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers’, making a comeback to music after 2 long years. Similarly, the Warriors have ended their two years of disappointment and have reached the NBA Finals this year after defeating the Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals. They will face the winner between Boston/Miami with the Celtics currently leading the series 3-2.

It seems the Warriors take their motivation by playing the newest album by Kendrick Lemar in their dressing room before every game. However, there should be no doubt about the hard work they put in their preparation for the big games this season. Hopefully, they will keep this feat of winning the championship-winning the same year of that as the release of Lemar’s album.
