Jaylen Brown’s name won’t be on the roster for the upcoming preseason game against the 76ers, according to a report by Ky Carlin from USA Today.

The reason behind Brown’s absence is quite straightforward: he’s taking a well-deserved break as part of a planned rest strategy. This decision to sit out marks his second consecutive absence in the preseason, and interestingly, it’s a parallel move made by his teammate, Jayson Tatum.

Importantly, these absences are not injury-related in any way. Both Brown and Tatum remain in good health, and fans can expect to see them back in action soon, with their next opportunity to play slated for Tuesday when they face the Knicks.
