Blue Ivy Carter’s latest fashion statement was in favor of her mother, Beyoncé. The 10-year-old wore pieces from her mother Beyoncé’s product brand to the NBA final game between the Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors on Monday night, alongside her father Jay-Z.

Carter wore a black T-shirt that said “Brown Skin Girl,” a reference to the same smash song she co-wrote with Beyoncé for her “Black Is King” album, which was released in the summer of 2020. Carter completed his ensemble with a leather jacket, black pants, and Nike Dunk Low Retro Panda sneakers.

In 2019, “Brown Skin Girl” was released, and it went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Music Video. The music video for the song was then released as part of Beyoncé’s “Black Is King” visual album, which featured Blue Ivy Carter.

Carter went to the NBA game with her father, but she’s been seen on the red carpet with Beyoncé on a regular basis over the years. Beyoncé and her daughter, for example, wore similar Alexander McQueen crystal-embellished ensembles to the premiere of “The Lion King” in July 2019. The celebrity couple also has five-year-old twins named Rumi and Sir Carter.
